Sunday’s Taste of the Boulevard in Seaside Heights will show off some of the tantalizing food available all year in the oceanfront community, while also benefiting two mainland charities and offering some special holiday gift shopping.

The tasting event includes delectable samplings from six of Seaside Heights’ top restaurants with three starting times for exploring the seaside eateries. All proceeds from ticket sales will go to CONTACT of Ocean & Monmouth Counties and Ocean’s Harbor House. The holiday event is organized by the Seaside Heights Business Improvement District (SSHBID) in partnership with Extended Arms, Toms River

Tickets are just $35 per person, with select bites from Klee’s Bar and Grill, Genevieve’s, PJ’s, Free Range, Ohana Grill, and Capt Hooks. (Drinks are not included in the ticket price and are sold separately). Tickets are available from eventbrite.com; search for events in Seaside Heights this weekend.

In addition, Heavy Reel Brewery will be open for sampling during the event. Spiaggia Arts will be offering unique coastal gifts for purchase. Le Peitit Garage will be hosting a pop-up shop between Klee’s and Genevieve’s featuring a chic mix of jewelry, clothing, gifts, and home décor.

There will be three starting time slots: 1 p.m., 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. for the Dec. 16 event. Tickets are for one time slot. Each ticket entitles participants to an event passport, which they will pick up at Klee’s on the day of the event. After picking up their passport at Klee’s, participants may visit the restaurants in any order that they wish.

Attendees must be at least 21 years old. All of the restaurants have donated gift cards and other items for a grand prize basket that will be drawn from the fully completed passports.

Parking meters are not enforced in the winter, providing plenty of free parking at each location.
