Seaside Heights Hosts Movies and Concerts on the Beach

Seaside Heights, NJ (July 2010) - Seaside Heights will host a movie and concert series all summer at the Hiering Avenue stage, beginning July 8th at dusk.
The movie series will kick-off Thursday with a showing of "Free Willy." G-rated movies will continue to be shown every Thursday through August 26. For the more mature crowd PG-13 movies are played every Sunday beginning with Jumanji on July 11 and continuing every Sunday through August 29.
Movies on the Beach
Movies on the beach are a fun and relaxing way to unwind after a busy day on the Seaside Heights' beach and boardwalk. The movie series features some of the most popular motion pictures from the last few years. The movie schedule is as follows: July8 "Free Willy," July 11th "Jumanji," July 15 "Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs," July 18 "Hook," July 22 "Where the Wild Things Are," July 25 "E.T." July 29 "Surf's Up," August 1 "Greetings from the Shore." August 5 "Willy Wonka & the Chocolate Factory," August 8 "Jaws" August 12 "Mouse Hunt," August 15 "Ferris Bueller," August 19 "Shrek," August 22 "Indiana Jones & The Kingdom of the Skull," August 26 "Happy Feet," August 29 "A Walk to Remember."
Concerts on the Beach
Seaside Heights' summer concert series began on July 5th and will continue through August 30th. Guest rocked out to tunes from the band while enjoying the view of Seaside Heights' beautiful sunset. The next concert will feature the alternative rock band, "Virgin Vinyl" and will begin at 7:00 p.m. The Seaside Heights concert series will feature many different bands and genres of music the schedule is as follows: July 12th "Virgin Vinyl," July 19 Bon Jovi cover band "Slippery When Wet," July 26 alternative rock bands "Jersey Jam Time Machine," and August 2 "El Kabon," August 9 80's cover band "Amethyst," August 16 rock band "The Characters," August 23 rock band "God Sons of Soul," and August 30 "Baby O."
Shows will take place on the Hiering Avenue stage and guests will be able to watch the show from the beach. This is a great opportunity to enjoy some summer entertainment in a peaceful and relaxing setting. Guests are encouraged to bring beach chairs and beach blankets in order to be comfortable on the beach.
