The Ocean County Historical Society Museum and Research Center was built in several stages, beginning in 1820. The final phase of construction was our Research Center, completed in 1990. Continue reading to watch the creation of our Museum. If you’d like to visit the museum, our hours of operation are Tuesday and Thursday from 1 – 3 PM, and the first Saturday of each month from 1 – 4 PM. You can visit our current Pauline Miller Room exhibit Tuesday – Friday  from 9:30 AM to 4:00 PM.  Our textile exhibit may be viewed during regular Museum visiting hours.   School tours and other group tours can be arranged by calling our office. Our Research Center is open Tuesday and Wednesday from 1 – 4 PM, and the first Saturday of each month from 1 – 4 PM.
